These machines will go live in July 2024 at WebstaurantStore’s new distribution facility in Nashville, Tenn. This recent installation is of particular significance as it is now the ninth CVP Impack in nine total states implemented by the largest online restaurant supply store servicing professionals and individual customers worldwide.
WebstaurantStore aspires to provide food service professionals with the best buying experience possible, which, in part, means getting items to their customers as quickly and efficiently as possible. The CVP Impack, a fit-to-size auto-boxing solution that measures, constructs, tapes, weighs and labels up to 500 right-sized boxes per hour, is an essential component to fulfilling this mission. Prior to partnering with Sparck, two of WebstarantStore’s manual packers were able to process approximately 64 units per hour. Now utilizing the CVP Impack machines, those same two people can now process approximately 400 per hour. This increase in efficiency has allowed WebstaurantStore to fulfill orders at a much faster rate, making the CVP Impack an integral part of WebstaurantStore’s business growth.
Offering more than 376,000 products, WebstaurantStore customers can order items ranging from restaurant furniture and commercial grills to cleaning supplies and condiments. With each product varying in size and shape, the CVP Impack is able to package single – or multi-item orders of either hard or soft goods, allowing for total flexibility and creating a custom fit-to-size box while eliminating or reducing the need for void fill materials.
