Scalable and efficient fulfillment solution
DeinDeal is a Swiss flash sale company that provides customers with the opportunity to purchase a wide variety of luxury goods at discounted prices of up to 70 percent compared to brick-and-mortar retailers. When DeinDeal.ch and MyStore.ch merged, under the leadership of Allen Krief as CEO in 2016, the pressing need for high-speed delivery was identified. But to deliver fast shipping, they would need a scalable and efficient fulfillment solution that could keep up with increasing ecommerce activity, even during peak seasons.
In 2021, because of their success in meeting the high demand for online orders, DeinDeal and MyStore were able to scale their operations to a large distribution center in that employs roughly 200 people that process up to 7,000 orders daily. “Due to the excellent experience we’ve encountered in the packaging sector, we decided to continue growing with Sparck Technologies at our new location as well”, says Allen Krief.

In January 2021, Sparck Technologies delivered a latest generation CVP Impack to DeinDeal’s newest distribution warehouse as a result of the success of the first installation. The CVP Impack measures, constructs, tapes, weighs and labels each each product in a custom right-sized box with the aid of only one or two operators. Since adjusting their fulfillment process to be faster and more reliable, DeinDeal won the Swiss E-Commerce Award, a well-known award that recognizes the top Swiss companies in
the industry.
The company saves around 30 percent on corrugated cardboard since they made the switch to right-sized automated packaging. Also, compared to previous years, DeinDeal uses about a third fewer truckloads due to the reduced transport volume. The cost savings, increased customer satisfaction and heightened output of the CVP Impack machines have positioned DeinDeal and MyStore for more successes to come.
