Sparck’s CVP Everest Named a 2020 Sustainability Product of the Year by Business Intelligence Group

Business Intelligence Group named Sparck’s CVP Everest as a Sustainability Product of the Year in the 2020 Sustainability Awards program. The Sustainability Awards honor the organizations that have made sustainability an integral part of their business practice or overall mission.

The CVP Everest Automated Packaging Solution is a fit-to-size auto-boxing technology that measures, constructs, seals, weighs and labels each custom order in as little as three seconds using only one or two operators. It is made for high-velocity packaging and can auto-box up to 1,100 parcels per hour, making it the fastest proven auto-boxing technology on the market today.

The CVP Everest’s dual induct station and ability to use three differently branded corrugate mills creates the perfect package for single- or multi-item orders, as well as soft or hard goods, without any additional equipment, boxes or operators needed. It even eliminates or reduces the need for void fill. This allows the CVP Everest to be considered a reuse/recycling program initiative as the corrugate can be 100% recycled and the boxes can be reused for returns or other items, which also increases customer satisfaction.

“We are excited the CVP Everest was recognized as a 2020 Sustainability Product of the Year as no automated packaging solution is as sustainable as this technology,” said Holly Busalacki, APS Director of Marketing, N.A. at Sparck Technologies. “By using a patented gluing system to eliminate packaging tape and create the smallest parcel necessary for every order, the CVP Everest ensures fewer delivery trucks are needed so greenhouse gas emissions are reduced. It even cuts parcel volume in half, saving thousands on shipping costs. Shippers from all industries will enjoy the benefits of the CVP Everest as it aids in their sustainability efforts.”
