We are looking for a driven Business Controller to professionally manage and elevate the international Sales and Service administration. You will act as a sparring partner for management and support in reporting on the profitability of our sales and service activities worldwide. In addition to your experience as a controller and working with financial objectives, you will also review and improve work processes. You will provide insights into the numbers, explain how they are composed, and translate this into useful management information. You will prepare periodic reports (EU and US), present them to management, and discuss them with the commercial team. You are hands-on and possess excellent communication skills.
You will report to the Manager of Finance & Control. Together with five colleagues, you will ensure the further development, professionalization, and positioning of the Finance department within Sparck Technologies.
The enthusiastic Business Controller embraces challenges and supports our strategic goals of growth and professionalism. You feel a sense of responsibility, are steadfast, and do not get easily discouraged. You have gained experience as a controller, for example, in an international company or a complex international organization. You possess an entrepreneurial spirit and can easily navigate different hierarchical levels. You are analytically strong, think in processes, and have a proactive attitude.
At least 5 years of work experience in an international commercial company
A completed HBO education in Business Control or Business Economics
Affinity with the dynamic world of sales and service
Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
Team player mentality and a supply chain-oriented mindset
Experience with Excel and ERP systems
Strong business acumen, initiative, and energy
