We are seeking a driven Operations Controller to professionally manage the financial administration of our factory and engineering projects, and to support management and financial reporting. In addition to your experience as a controller and working with financial objectives, you will also review and improve work processes. You will provide insights into the numbers, explain how they are composed, and translate this into useful management information. You will prepare periodic reports and present them to management. You can think along and contribute to issues related to cost price, margin, effectiveness, and efficiency within our production site in Drachten, and you possess excellent communication skills.
You will report to the Manager of Finance & Control. Together with five colleagues, you will ensure the further development, professionalization, and positioning of the Finance department within Sparck Technologies.
The enthusiastic Operations Controller embraces challenges and aligns with our strategic goals of growth and professionalism. You are resilient and not easily discouraged. You have gained experience as a controller, for example, in an (international) manufacturing company or a complex (international) organization. You possess an entrepreneurial pioneering spirit and can easily navigate different hierarchical levels. You are analytically strong and have a proactive attitude.
At least 10 years of relevant work experience
A completed HBO education in Business Control, Business Economics, or Financially-Oriented Technical Business Administration
Affinity with complex machine manufacturing
Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
Team player mentality and a supply chain-oriented mindset
Experience with Excel and ERP systems
Strong business acumen, initiative, and energy
