The throughput of our automatic packaging machines is in some cases limited by the speed in which the operator can feed the machine with orders. Our team of engineers is looking for an intern that will help us to analyze this situation in order the find opportunity to improve this process by assisting the operator by speeding up of barcode recognition and support of optimal positioning of articles (single and/or multi article orders) based TOF camera analyses.

Responsibilities

You will have the following responsibilities:

• Analyze current behavior of operators while feeding the machine with orders
• Identify bottlenecks
• Create ideas to improve the throughput
• Transform one or more ideas into a working prototype

You will be using the following tools and techniques:

• C/C++
• MS Office
