Our team of engineers is looking for an intern that will improve the camming of the carboard in our automated packaging machines.

Due to slippage and variation in pulse/mm ratio there is always a difference between real and calculated position of the corrugate. By using sensors we try to measure and compensate for the deviation.

Responsibilities

You will have the following responsibilities:

• Interview stakeholders and write functional specifications
• Make an inventory of current camming and sensors used
• Measure the deviations and perform analysis on these data
• Add sensors if appropriate and adapt algorithm
• Build and test prototype(s)

You will be using the following tools and techniques:

• Beckhoff TwinCAT
• C/C++
• MS Office
