Sparck and FS Solutions Join Forces to Optimize Packaging Lines

Sparck Technologies, the packaging specialist from Drachten, and FS Solutions, a pioneer in conveyor belts, have joined forces to optimize Sparck's automated packaging lines.

Sparck Technologies specializes in custom automated packaging of products and currently operates two packaging lines. Both systems scan the dimensions of each product in 3D and then cut a custom-sized box from a strip of continuous cardboard. With speeds of up to 1,100 orders per hour, the shipping box is automatically folded around the order, sealed, and labeled for shipping. Fast, efficient, and environmentally friendly.

The latest development concerns the so-called automatic infeed of the CVP Everest. Kees Oosting explains: “The automatic infeed is a unit that provides a smooth, automated link between the upstream warehouse and our automated packaging solution. The Everest is supplied with orders without the need for an operator, which are then fully automatically packed and labeled, ready for shipping.”

The auto infeed unit was developed by Sparck itself and features special roller belts that ensure the items to be packed reach the machine correctly. FS Solutions was chosen as a partner to make these special roller belts suitable for the CVP Everest. The choice for FS Solutions was deliberate. Their supply systems stand out for their accuracy, reliability, and affordability, meeting the stringent quality requirements Sparck was looking for.
