CVP Everest Wins 2020 Green Supply Chain

The CVP Everest Automated Packaging Solution was selected as a 2020 Green Supply Chain Award winner due to its ability to combat sustainability issues, such as greenhouse gas emissions and unnecessary void fill. This fit-to-size auto-boxing technology measures, constructs, seals, weighs and labels each custom order in as little as three seconds using only two operators with 100% recyclable materials and zero plastic. It is made for high-velocity packaging and can auto-box up to 1,100 parcels per hour, making it the fastest proven auto-boxing technology on the market today. Its dual induct station and ability to use three differently branded corrugate mills creates the perfect package for single- or multi-item orders, as well as soft or hard goods, without any additional equipment, boxes or operators needed. The CVP Everest also uses a patented gluing system to affix a custom-fit corrugate lid to each fit-to-size parcel to eliminate packaging tape and offer a more sustainable fulfillment process. These custom-fit parcels eliminate or greatly reduce the need for void fill material as it is no longer needed to protect products, helping to limit a shipper’s environmental footprint.
